5 Home Remedies for Dull Hair

Your hair needs care just like every other part of your body. Without it, it becomes dull and lifeless. That kind of hair is prone to damage. If you notice your hair becoming dry, brittle, rough, and split ends are showing, it’s time to do something.
There are various home remedies that you can try to keep your hair healthy at home. Some of them include:
1. Olive oil
Olive oil is rich in vitamin E. Its antioxidant content heals damaged hair. It seals the cuticle and outer layer of your hair with moisture. It also protects to give your hair a healthy shine.
Simply massage warm olive oil on your scalp and rinse it after a while. You can also keep it overnight for better results.
2. Apple cider vinegar (ACV)
This is an excellent ingredient that works as both conditioner and cleanser. Your hair becomes dull and dry because of residue buildup left behind by hair products. ACV works by washing away any residue. Additionally, it moisturizes your hair and keeps it soft and shiny.
After shampooing your hair, massage ACV on your scalp and hair. Let it sit for a minute and rinse it off. Do this once a week for best results.
3. Eggs
Eggs are a rich source of protein and contain lecithin, a nourishing ingredient. Eggs are all round hair benefactors—they strengthen, heal, and enhance hair growth. An egg wash is all you need to moisturize and heal your hair. It also improves hair texture.
Use an egg white diluted with lukewarm water and massage on the scalp. Let it sit for 15 minutes before washing with cold water.
4. Beer
Beer is an excellent conditioner for hair. The proteins present in beer repair cuticles and nourish the follicles. Your hair will become smooth and shiny after a beer-wash.
You can keep beer in a spray bottle. Spray it on your wet hair after shampooing.
